{"id":16,"date":"2014-08-30T03:51:09","date_gmt":"2014-08-30T03:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lilyministries.com\/blog\/?page_id=16"},"modified":"2016-08-17T01:55:25","modified_gmt":"2016-08-17T01:55:25","slug":"videos","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/shirleperkins.com\/?page_id=16","title":{"rendered":"Blog"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>UNIQUE FACTOR<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Every LILY struggles through a growth process in order to blossom in her season.\u00a0\u00a0Each bloom is unique.\u00a0 When\u00a0each woman\u00a0understands her growth struggle, and if she\u00a0 remains sensitive to God's' timing for her life,\u00a0she will come to appreciate her individual beauty, her \"Unique Factor.\"<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"775\" height=\"436\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ghzL64QDVbw?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I can only imagine that a LILY is comfortable in its original form; a bulb, dormant and sheltered from the elements of life.<\/p>\n<p>In his research paper, \u201cD<em>ormancy and the Cell Cycle,\u201d Michael A. Ca<\/em>mpbell says,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\"Biologically, dormancy is an <em>avoidance response<\/em> to drought, cold, or shortening days. The dormant situation is a complex set of physiological states and conditions in which plants respond to a series of stresses, such as drought and over-wintering, by entering a state of <em>growth suspension<\/em>.\"<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Lily has three stages of dormancy, resulting in\u00a0growth suspension.\u00a0 For purposes of this blog, we will not go over them all, but we will address the result of these stages.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever a change occurs in\u00a0the life of the LILY, her first reaction is\u00a0resistance.\u00a0 In some situations, time is all that is required for\u00a0resistance\u00a0to terminate;
