\"CONSIDER THE LILY\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Lily<\/a><\/p>\n

S<\/strong><\/span>cripture:<\/p>\n

Matthew 6:28-29<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>28\u00a0And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:<\/p>\n

29\u00a0And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

O<\/strong><\/span>bservation:<\/p>\n

So many days we spend time worrying about our provisions.\u00a0 But, we need only turn to this scripture to Learn Lessons from the Lily.\u00a0 <\/strong>A lily\u2019s home is in the field; a vulnerable place which lies out in the open, unprotected.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I<\/strong><\/span>nterpretation:<\/p>\n

Take thought<\/strong> -- To be anxious; to be troubled with cares; to care for; look out for (a thing); to seek to promote one's interests; caring or providing for<\/p>\n

Grow <\/strong>\u2013- Increase, become greater.<\/p>\n

Toil<\/strong> \u00a0--\u00a0 \u00a0Scatter seed;<\/p>\n

Glory<\/strong> -\u2013 Glorious condition; exalted state<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

L<\/strong><\/span>ife Application:<\/p>\n

Too often I am guilty of worrying too much.\u00a0 When I consider the LILY, in the midst of all she has to worry about, she relaxes in the LORD.\u00a0 As a result, she grows, she increases, she becomes greater.\u00a0 And all the glory goes to God, for He did that.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Prayer:\u00a0 <\/strong>Lord, help me to always remember that you are the One Who can do that.\u00a0 Your hand upon my life is what gives me increase.\u00a0 Thank you for all You\u2019ve done and what You will yet do when I rest totally in You.<\/p>\n
