"Pencil Me In," is one of the funniest lines given by Mr. Brown in Tyler Perry’s Movie, “Meet the Browns.”
You all remember the scene. Mr. Brown is at his father’s funeral, and as the eulogy is being delivered, he interrupts the speaker and says, “Pencil me in.”
I laugh so hard every time I see this scene. As I thought about it today, I realized that October is here and this marks the 4th Quarter of 2015. I looked back over the year and realized I have so much to be grateful to God for. I’ve accomplished much, but before I turn my attention to 2016, I want to do more to close out this year.
How about you? Do you have unfinished business? Have you made your indelible mark this year? If not, choose today to stand up and tell the world, “PENCIL ME IN.” Why? Because your voice is important, and the world is waiting for that special gift called YOU.
The first three quarters are important in any sport, but it’s the 4th quarter that makes the difference between a loss and a win. You have it in you to finish 2015 as a CHAMPION.
Are you positioned for purpose? Are you surrounded by likeminded friends? Are you focused on what’s important? Are you coached for a VICTORY?
I believe in YOU and can’t wait for the YOU in YOU to SHOW UP.
I look forward to hearing of your victories.
